I love to watch a lot of TV but the problem is that I work odd hours and don't get to be at home for prime time. Sitting down to watch TV after midnight can be frustrating because there is not much for me to watch at that time.
That is why I get very excited when I hear about the ever increasing chances to watch TV online. It means that I can watch my favourite shows whenever I like, and I don't have to miss a thing. There are a few different ways of watching TV shows online and below are a few examples.
The official online players are probably my favourite way of watching TV shows on the internet. And the best one of all of these in my opinion is the BBC iPlayer. I like the fact that you get the opportunity to watch programmes that you have missed or you can also watch live channels too. Not every show ends up available to watch again, but most of them do.
The really nice thing about the BBC iPlayer is that audio and video is always top notch.
Another way to watch TV stations on the internet is through one of the many websites that are available. However with many poor quality stations being on offer, this can be a problem. I have to admit that I have never been able to find anything really worth watching on these sites.
Another good option is to download TV shows. I like this because sometimes my internet plays up and this means that the streaming video keeps needing to buffer. And if I download the TV show then I don't even have to be near an internet connection to be able to watch them.
